Huge update, new enemy, health system, and new melee animations
We have implemented a completely new combat system. This system feels more like what we were trying to achieve early on, an action fast-paced combat system similar to Fortnite's controls. Our update also includes new melee animations when holding the sword.
We also have implemented a new enemy type that the player will fight. A werewolf! This werewolf stalks the plains of Spookville and will attack the player either on 2 legs or 4! The speed and type of attacks are derived based on the werewolf's stance.
We also implemented the player's health system. This system behaves a lot like other games in the genre but also features a full HUD display of damage taken. The player will feel the damage taken and will want to take cover if their health gets too low.
And the biggest update of all is the new open landscape. We pulled the cabin out of the woods and plopped it in a large environment surrounded by tall grass, rolling creeks, and mountains. There still are creepy trees to pull the player in, but they now have a huge area to explore and discover all of the secrets of Spookville: Cabin Escape.
Spookville: Cabin Escape
Prepare to be gripped by a tale of supernatural powers as you unravel the chilling mystery that surrounds the cabin.
