They Desire Fire - A quick paced puzzle game that places you in a maze of traps and monsters looking for you. Hide in the shadows and set yourself up nicely to get to the end!

This is IndieScape Games' entry to the Brackey's Game Jam and currently in a very rough draft. We have had so much fun making it that after the competition we are going to continue working on this with new art, a rework of all of the levels (11 in this first build), and a small story line!

Is there any way to get health? I'm down to 1 heart and when the level resets I start with 1 heart. I makes exploring the later levels very difficult with no room for error.

@Fengol, yes there is a way to replenish health if the level has a fire  pot like on the main menu. It requires you to:

  • be currently holding a torch with fire remaining
  • have not ran into it previously

Doing these things will grant you +1 health per level.
